Made in various hardwoods, the rhinoceros has a simple and robust profile. A small bowl has been turned into its back for the keeping of something precious.
The lid to the bowl is guarded by an Oxpecker in sycamore and padauk- a small bird that keeps its transport free of ticks and small insects, but also has a bit of a taste for blood. A mutual relationship, if at times a little parasitic perhaps.
