By placing an order you are agreeing to the following terms & conditions;
Accuracy of information
If an order is placed for an item no longer in stock, or if there is a pricing or delivery issue, we will contact you as soon as is practicable in order to agree how best to proceed with the order.
All items are made either entirely or partially by hand. This means that pieces will bear the marks of the making process and no two items will be identical. Materials used have their own inherent patterns, grain and natural variation which all contribute to the individuality of each piece. Therefore, items received may vary slightly from the photographs and dimensions on the website. Please consider this prior to ordering and please contact us if you would like any further information relating to a specific piece.
Shipping costs are based on the delivery address and charged at a flat rate. We will do our best to ensure that you receive your goods in a timely manner. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays that occur outside of our control. For International shipping outside of the UK, please be in touch and we can provide you with a quote. Please note that international deliveries may be subject to additional duties and taxes in the destination country which are to be paid by the customer.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, and you wish to return an item or items, please contact us as soon as is practicable. You will be refunded the full cost if the item or items provided they are in an unused and saleable condition, and returned within 14 days of being received by you. Please note that shipping costs will not be refunded, and the cost of returning goods is your responsibility. If the returned item or items are damaged in any way, no refund will be given. Therefore, please take care when packaging and shipping. You may wish to consider shipping insurance on any items returned, as we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred during shipping. Returns are not possible on bespoke items that are made as commissions.
We make every effort to ensure that items are shipped in prime condition. If you discover that an item is faulty, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to rectify the fault. Where possible, the item will be replaced, alternatively a full refund (including shipping costs) will be made. Please note faulty goods must be returned within 14 days of you receiving them.
Materials and finishes used in all items are described on the website. Curio Studio accepts no liability for injury resulting from the use of any items purchased from Curio Studio. Where children are to handle any items purchased from Curio Studio, it is the parent or carers responsibility to ensure safe use of any such item and provide supervision as appropriate.
Where items are described as having a toy safe finish, this means the oil finish or coating is compliant with EN71 Part 3. Where items are described as having a food safe finish, this means the oil finish or coating is compliant with the following standards: British Pharmacopoeia, BP 1998; US Pharmacopoeia XXIII; European Pharmacopoeia, 3rd Edition 1997; FDA 21 GFR 172.878 and 21 CFR 178.3620(a); as well as other worldwide standards for food safe finishes.
